Potty training is EXHAUSTING

Here we are, at almost age 3 and a half...and still not interested at ALL in going in the big boy potty. I swear I have tried EVERYTHING! Nothing is working. So today, I decided to put the big boy undies back on him. And after trips every 15 minutes to the potty, he went in his pants. So after a scream filled bath and him cleaning up where he went to the bathroom...it apparently wore him out. *sigh*...

april showers..bring may flowers!

Countdown to the wedding begins! Every Saturday from now until the big day is occupied now! Tomorrow is my shower at Marilyn's house! Which I am so excited about because my mom and bridesmaids will get to meet my future family and see where we are getting married!
Yesterday, Nelson and I went to Kevin Lunt's house (our photographer) to look at our engagement pictures. There were acutally quite a few we really really liked! Which is surprising coming from two people who HATE having their pictures taken!!! The pics will be online on Monday so I will add a few on here as soon as I can!

Yucky month of April.

Wow, this month has been the worst month! It started off with a phone call on the 8th that my grandpa had passed away. So the next day my mom and I got in the car and drove the 12 hours to Portland Oregon where I stayed with my grandma for a week since she didnt want to be alone. Then Nelson flew to me the day before his funeral so he could be there with me, which was really nice. But at the funeral, my real dad showed up. I have no contact with him and the last time I actually talked to him was the phone call I got from him when I was 12 saying we are going to Disneyland. So that was awkward in itself. Then I get back and wake up Monday morning in the worst pain! Turns out I had a bladder infection that spread to my kidneys. ouchy. Then the very next day, I get called down to HR at my work and they laid me off, me and 24 others. Im supposed to be getting excited for my wedding and all the stuff coming up for it and I cant help but stress out! Something good better come this month to get me out of this slump! And the month is almost over...

dresses!

I have pictures! :) So the first picture is obviously MY dress! Except I will have platinum silver instead of that green color. and the second dress is my bridesmaids dress. except their dress is black with that blue instead of the brown.... and my flower girl dress is being naughty and not letting me download the picture... so here is the website! http://www.watters.com/product.php?showid=483 and if you change the color scheme to the different blues you can get a better look at it! But Kenna's little dress will be black with the baby blue underneath just like my bridesmaids! sooo cute! I am so excited, she is going to look adorable!

Flowers! Flowers!

Eegads! Flowers are stressful! I had no idea where to even begin! BUT after a long afternoon with our adorable florist, I think we have it down! my bouquet will be made of giant white stargazer lilies and this little blue flower i cant remember what she called it.. and my bridesmaids will have the longstem large calla lilies wrapped in greens. and all the groomsmen and mothers and sisters in law will have a calla lily also. ooo and check out that table setting, use that as just a reference. ours will have blue hydrengea's instead of the white. and the stargazer lilies will be white and its going to be bigger then that picture. I'm so excited! I love lilies so much! I think they are so pretty!

A-L-E-X loves Melson and Momma!

Alex is so funny! This is such a wonderful age! Alex learned how to spell his name and so he spells it before just about every sentence. And has gotten very affectionate lately. Pretty much anything coming out of his mouth is "A-L-E-X loves momma. Or Melson, I love you berry much." It's so funny, he cant say Nelson. It's so fun to watch nelson and alex together. Alex prefers Nel over me sometime! even opting to fall asleep on HIS lap instead of mommy's! It melts my heart and makes me so super excited of the thought of one day having a baby with Nelson. He will be such a great dad! And amazingly helpful husband. :)

lovin' food too much!

EEK! we are at about the 3 month mark before the wedding and it is going to come up fast! And here I am gaining weight! my "fat" jeans are officially my every day jeans now... so I have started exercising and watching what I eat. I had quit the disgusting habit of smoking a couple months ago and never looked back, but, I believe that was a factor in my rapid weight gain. We will keep our fingers crossed that I stick with it and get back down to where I want to be!!
