dresses!

I have pictures! :) So the first picture is obviously MY dress! Except I will have platinum silver instead of that green color. and the second dress is my bridesmaids dress. except their dress is black with that blue instead of the brown.... and my flower girl dress is being naughty and not letting me download the picture... so here is the website! http://www.watters.com/product.php?showid=483 and if you change the color scheme to the different blues you can get a better look at it! But Kenna's little dress will be black with the baby blue underneath just like my bridesmaids! sooo cute! I am so excited, she is going to look adorable!

Flowers! Flowers!

Eegads! Flowers are stressful! I had no idea where to even begin! BUT after a long afternoon with our adorable florist, I think we have it down! my bouquet will be made of giant white stargazer lilies and this little blue flower i cant remember what she called it.. and my bridesmaids will have the longstem large calla lilies wrapped in greens. and all the groomsmen and mothers and sisters in law will have a calla lily also. ooo and check out that table setting, use that as just a reference. ours will have blue hydrengea's instead of the white. and the stargazer lilies will be white and its going to be bigger then that picture. I'm so excited! I love lilies so much! I think they are so pretty!

A-L-E-X loves Melson and Momma!

Alex is so funny! This is such a wonderful age! Alex learned how to spell his name and so he spells it before just about every sentence. And has gotten very affectionate lately. Pretty much anything coming out of his mouth is "A-L-E-X loves momma. Or Melson, I love you berry much." It's so funny, he cant say Nelson. It's so fun to watch nelson and alex together. Alex prefers Nel over me sometime! even opting to fall asleep on HIS lap instead of mommy's! It melts my heart and makes me so super excited of the thought of one day having a baby with Nelson. He will be such a great dad! And amazingly helpful husband. :)

lovin' food too much!

EEK! we are at about the 3 month mark before the wedding and it is going to come up fast! And here I am gaining weight! my "fat" jeans are officially my every day jeans now... so I have started exercising and watching what I eat. I had quit the disgusting habit of smoking a couple months ago and never looked back, but, I believe that was a factor in my rapid weight gain. We will keep our fingers crossed that I stick with it and get back down to where I want to be!!

and it gets worse!

I am at a loss for words with my son! He is going to grow up to either be in the F.B.I or be the worlds best bank robber! So, last night Nelson and I decided to take away the chairs from his table/chair set in his room because he takes them and uses them as stools to change the channel on the tv in his room and to get up on the counter in the middle of the night. Well, before we went to bed I hear a giant BANG!... I go in there to check on him, and Alex was atempting to move the entire table! I made him get back into bed and told him if I hear another peep out of him I will be taking the tv away tonight. So I dont hear anything else the rest of the night. Then when I go to wake him up this morning for school, he had the whole table in front of his dresser and was watching tv standing ontop of it, with his hand in a bag of chips! Nelson and I were both like how in the world did he get those chips! our snack cupboard is on top of the fridge!.... get this!... our dining room table is the tall kind with the stools, Alex dragged one of the stools over to the fridge, climbed on top of it, then ontop of the fridge and stole a bag of chips! UNBELIVABLE! *sigh*...is it legal to lock your children in their rooms at night??????

oooooo toddlers...

So Alex got a toddler bed a month ago, I finally got rid of the crib! Well, he figured it out that in a toddler bed he can get in and out of bed whenever he pleases. He would wake us up at midnight every night, then again at around 2, from his toys banging on the floor. So, I got the idea to take his toys out of his room every night, which is a pain, but he sleeps longer.

My little mastermind, woke up in the middle of the night, snuck out of his room, took his stool from the bathroom, put it in the kitchen to get up to the counter, opened a pack of skittles and stole some, then snuck into our room, and stole some of his toys... all without waking us! haha. But he told on himself because he came back into our room and woke me up by standing as close to me as possible, and staring at me. I woke up with a jump for him to hold up his hands and tell me "momma, my hands are blue." (from the skittles) ...*sigh*

hmmm... let's see if this works shall we! I figured I was the only girl in the world NOT blogging, so I joined the bandwagon!

Alot has happened in the last few months! I got engaged to a wonderful guy Nelson Snell. He is my best friend and I don't know what I did before I met him. He is so great to me and my son Alex. Our wedding date is June 13th this year and we are super excited! And also very stressed, considering we are paying for this all on our own! I can't wait to be apart of the Snell family. They are such a loving, caring family and I adore every one of them! So far, we have decided to hold the ceremony and reception in Nel's parents backyard. I have only seen it covered in leaves in the fall and covered in snow in the winter, but I hear its absolutely beautiful in the spring and summer! We also have decided to have all 5 of Nelson's brother as the groomsmen, and my friends Ashlee, Leanne, Stephanie,Brittany,and Heather in my line. Though I want my sisters and future sister in laws to be recognized somehow! We are trying to get that figured out next! The photographer is booked, and the florist is booked! I just need to figure out what flowers I want, which is not easy considering the colors I chose are black, platinum, light blue and white. Nelson is so funny about all this, he is basically just saying he promises to show up and letting me plan the whole thing, which is nice, but not... because I want him to be happy with the choices I have made too. And also, my poor family and friends are unofficially my wedding planners! I need all the help I can get!
